Resident at the Swansea Grand Theatre, the group was formed in 2002 in memory of Swansea born actor, singer and comedian, Sir Harry Secombe. Our aim is to provide young performers between the ages of 3 and 21 with an opportunity to receive qualified, professional tuition in all aspects of musical theatre.
Although the creative team and the team of volunteers who make it all possible may have changed over the years, the trust’s intentions remain the same
The Harry’s Youth Theatre are thrilled to say that Kev Johns MBE and Chris ‘Bomber’ Barrett are our Patrons. As long time supporters of Harry’s, students and staff enjoy working together with Kev and Chris for the benefit of the talented young people of Swansea, in both Performance and Technical Theatre.
The Creative Team
The creative team work together to teach and develop the necessary skills for performing to the high standard audiences have come to expect from Harry’s pupils. They work closely with the Angels to ensure each performance, whether it be a concert or full scale production, is delivered at the high standard expected by all our audiences
